Designer Calendar – March

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hi everyone

I decided to post my March calendar page some days before the month begins (not like my February calendar page, which I posted quite late).

This year we have Good Friday towards the end of March, so I decided to have Easter theme for my March calendar.

March calendar on case

March calendar

As you can see there are many important dates in March for me to note, including the early bird registration for Stampin’ Up! convention in Brisbane!! I’m very excited about it. This will be my first convention experience. I will be going with Tania (my upline) and a few wonderful new friends in the avid_inkers group whom I met not long after I joined Stampin’ Up!

As there are many dates to note, I had to crack the large egg to create a pocket for a note card! There are many beautiful versions of cracked eggs created by many talented Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. I hope you like my version too!

Here is a list of the items I used:

Large egg – stamps and framelits from ‘Oh Hello’ Bundle*

Small eggs – ‘Spring Sampler’ stamp set*

Little label on the note card – Petite Curly Label**

Embellishments – Flower Trim*, Ribbon from Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack**, Designer Button (subtle), Brad (subtle)

Notes: * These are items from the new seasonal catalogue

** These are sale-a-bration freebies.

Please email me or call/text me on 0423 629 209 if you need any help or if you want to order any of Stampin’ Up! products.

Spring Sampler

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hi everyone, I would like to share with you two simple cards I made using ‘Spring Sampler’ stamp set from the new seasonal catalogue.

All stamps in this set are of small size and I think they will be great for gift tags, baby albums or maybe paper clips. Anyway, I feel like making cards today so I give it a try.

In the first card, I used four different stamps, each on a small circle which was mounted onto a bigger circle. I used one stamp on a little tag, made using a stamp and a matching framelit from ‘Hearts a Flutter’ bundle. The sentiment series of ‘joy’ is from the ‘Priority Mail’ stamp set, which is only available for hostess. The sentiment ‘Oh Happy Day’ is from ‘Blooming Marvellous’ stamp set, a sale-a-bration free product.  Here is the card.

Oh Happy Day

In the second card, I tried story telling. As I don’t have any sentiment stamp that would fit the story, I decided to write it using a marker. Here is what it looks like. (Hope you can read my hand writing.)

I AM BACK! (with the new seasonal catalogue)

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hello everyone. Sorry I have been inactive from my website for a few weeks. I started posting a few things when the website wasn’t really ready. Then I had to take a break from it for a while (so many wonderful SU products were waiting for me to play with). Last Sunday I decided to continue working with my website. Although it is simple and there are still things I need to fix/improve, I am happy as I can share my work to those who love craft and Stampin’ Up! products.

One hiccup! I tried searching my website name (Joyful Craft) and got someone else website. I tried searching my name and got those publications I wrote years ago when I was doing PhD study in New Zealand and when I was working at CSIRO. As ignorant as I was about how things work, I changed the site name (now ‘Wrap in Ink’) and address (https://wrapinink.wordpress.com’) and you know what…it didn’t help.  I just learnt today that it usually takes a few weeks for the newly registered website to appear through search engine. Anyway since I have just changed my website name and address, you may have to reach my website by entering the web address for the time being. Thank you for your patience.

Well, I promise to stay connected from now on.

Let’s talk about something more interesting, the the new seasonal catalogue! I love so…so many products in the new catalogue.  Well, since it is close to the Valentine Day, I’m going to share with you what I have made using ‘Heart a Flutter’ Bundle from the new catalogue.
