Honey Comb Notepad Cover

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hi everyone.  Yesterday I used the last page of one of my notepads, so I have to start a new one today.  I use notepads of various sizes all the time, jotting down my wish lists and project ideas, etc.  I always have a notepad in my handbag and a few at my desk.  I usually buy simple and inexpensive stationary and decorate them the way I want.  Because I love stationary, you will see projects related to stationary quite often on my website.

Well, here is the Notepad cover I made today.

Honey Comb Notepad Cover 1

This one is to be used (as refill) in my A5 compendium that I carry around in my handbag wherever I go.

Honey Comb Notepad Cover 2

I bought this notepad, which fits perfectly in my compendium, from BigW.  It came in a pack of five.  Each notepad has 100 sheets.  The pack cost only 3 dollars something.  The only stamp I used is the verse from ‘Trust God’ stamp set.  I love all the sentiments from this stamp set.

Heart a Flutter Anniversary Card

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hi everyone.  Today I’m sharing with you a card that I made for my husband for our silver anniversary. I used soft sponge technique (inspired by Connie Stewart of Simply Simple Stamping) on very vanilla card stock to create different colours rather than using different coloured card stocks. I love this technique.  Connie Stewart is one of my favourite Stamin’ Up! demonstrators.  I got some silver glimmer paper as a free gift from Stampin’ Up! for my recent orders, and this is a good opportunity for me to use them. I think it is shiny, pretty and suits the occasion quite well.

Lattice BigZ Wedding Card

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hi everyone.  Today I want to share with you a wedding card that I made for my friend’s daughter.  I attended her wedding in Melbourne last week.

Lattice BigZ Wedding Card

I used a ‘lattice’ created using the Lattice BigZ as the main feature and toped up with the heart print designer series paper, the heart embossed card stock, a butterfly and a flower.  I decided to use just ‘congratulation’ sentiment as the card looks a little too busy for a large sentiment.

Cards Recipes:

Stamp Set:  Itty Bitty Banners (p134)

Stamp Pads:  Pool Party (p152)

Card Stock:  Very Vanilla (p156), Pool Party (p152) and White Vellum (p160)

Designer Series Paper:  More Amore Specialty (p10*)

Punches:  1 ¼” Scallop Circle (p34*), Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (p183) and Elegant Butterfly (p184)

Embossing Folder:  Adorning Accents Folder (p188)

Embellishments:  Pearl Basic Jewels (p175), 3/8” Designer Printed Brad (p154)

Patterned Occasions Little Magnet Cards

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hi everyone.  I wanted to make a card that the person who has received the card can use it, display it (and think of me whenever he or she sees/uses the card).  I also want to keep it simple at the same time.  So, I used stamps in the ‘Patterned Occasions’ stamp set to make five little magnet cards for five different occasions.  I used vellum to make envelopes for these cards and used stamps from ‘Priority Mail’ stamp set, which complement the occasions of the cards, to decorate the envelopes.

Here are the five magnet cards

Blooming in a Jar

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hi everyone, I am still in love with the stamps in ‘Perfectly Preserved’ stamp set.  Today I used the ‘jar’ stamp from this set on a sheet of vellum to create a vase for my flowers.  The three flowers in the jar were created using this ‘Perfectly Preserved’ stamp set, ‘Blooming Marvellous’ stamp set and the little flower punch from the ‘Itty Bitty Punch Pack’.  The leaves were made from ‘Little Leaves Sizzlits’.   The little butterfly stamp is from ‘A Fitting Occasions’ stamp set.  I cut a line at the top of the jar and insert the stem of the flowers and leaves into the jar. I got the idea of using vellum as a jar from Jacquii McLeay.

‘Gift Basket’ from ‘Ovals Collection’ Framelits Dies

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hi everyone, I had so much fun using the ‘Ovals Collection’ framelits dies to make an easter bunny basket last night.  (I called it a basket even though it has no handles!)  Today I decided to make another basket, not a bunny one, just a gift basket that we can use for any occasions and with the handles this time!

I intend to use this basket to hold a gift for my husband for our upcoming silver anniversary.  I used baja breeze card stock so it doesn’t look so girly, but sweet enough for the anniversary occasion, and the ‘Honeycomb’ embossing folder to add interesting texture to the basket.

‘Easter Bunny Basket’ from ‘Ovals Collection’ Framelits Dies

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hi everyone, I bought the ‘Ovals Collection’ framelits dies with ‘Oh Hello’ stamp set in a bundle, which gave me 15% saving!  There are 7 framelits of different sizes in the set and the largest one has pretty scallop edge.  I found these framelits very useful.

Last night I used the largest framelit to make an Easter Bunny Basket.  I got the idea from Connie Stewart.  Connie used ‘Everybunny’ stamp set to decorate her oval basket – very cute!  I don’t have that stamp set yet, so I decided to make a bunny out of the basket itself, using smaller framelits in the set to create the ears and the circle and scallop circle punches to create eyes, nose and tail.  I reduced the size of the basket box, so I don’t have to use so many eggs to fill the basket and I drew the carrot!

You may want to decorate the back of the bunny’s ears as well (I forgot about it!).
