Hi everyone. Yesterday was Deb’s birthday. Deb is Tania (my upline)’s upline and has been very supportive to me. So yesterday morning before I went to stamp camp, I sewed a mug dress for her using my favourite ‘Tea for Two’ fabric. Deb loves vintage style and her vintage cards are beautiful and inspiring. I chose to sew ‘flying geese’ patchwork pattern for her.
I was still in sewing mood when I came back from stamp camp so I sewed another two simpler mug dresses. One I used applique technique with two circle sizes (created with Circle No. 2 Originals). The other one I just showcased the pretty pinwheel patterned fabric.
Here is how they look like.
And here is the birthday card that I made for Deb. I used the layout that Kristina Werner used in one of her teachings on how to mix and match designer series paper.
I will try to put together the measurements for the mug dressed and post on my blog in the next couple days.
Thank you for visiting and ‘Happy Crafting’.
Love love love these Bussy and I can’t wait to give it this a go when you post the tutorial. You are soooo clever and I love how you have added the buttons to the other two. Deb will be thrilled. You’ ve inpsired me to get the sewing machine out again and I’ll share my creations soon.
Thank you for your encouraging comments. I have posted the tutorial, hope it is easy enough to follow. I saw your craft tote, very pretty! Bussy

Hi Carolyn, thank you for visiting my blog and the lovely comment. Hope the tutorial is useful. Bussy
Beautiful. Have been googling knitting patterns for something like this. This would be so much quicker and I have a little stash of fabric too! Thanks
Thank you for stopping by. Please let me know if the tutorial I posted is not clear enough. Bussy
