‘Simply sketched’ happy birthday card

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator, Canberra

I got this gorgeous ‘Simply sketched’ hostess stamp set and just love it. The set has three beautiful outlined stamps and three sentiment stamps.

Simply sketched card 1a

I used ‘Beautifully Baroque’ embossing folder for the ‘blushing bride’ card base, then sponged it lightly with white craft ink. The flowers were coloured in ‘strawberry slush’, ‘blushing bride’ and ‘pistachio pudding’ (used ink- pads and a blender pen).

I want to show off the ‘Beautifully Baroque’ embossed background as much as possible so I stamped the ‘Happy birthday wishes’ onto vellum (used versa mark ink and white embossing powder).

The whisper white organza ribbon and a very vintage button were added to the vellum, and the card is done!

‘Flower pot’ easel card & paper clip

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator, Canberra

I saw some beautiful flower pot cards made by many talented crafters and was really inspired. Last weekend I decided to make one, using my favourite pansy punch. I also tried using the brayer and ‘stripes’ embossing folder to create the gingham on the pot. I was quite happy with the product.

Then I thought if I make it into an easel card, the receiver can display it and always remember me (smile). So I tried and… it works!

Apart from the message on the pot itself, we can also add message on the easel part of the card and also on the insert piece of the pot.

I had so much fun, so I decided to make a tiny little flower pot to decorate a paper clip. This time I used a flower punch in the Itty Bitty shape punch pack. I love it and will definitely make many more for my friends.

‘What a perfect pear’ card

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator, Canberra

I combined Stampin’ Up! new and retired products that I love so much to make this card.

What a perfect pair card 1

I embossed the ‘Soft Sky’ paper with the ‘Modern Mosaic’ embossing folder for the card base.

For the centre piece, I used ‘Perfectly Preserved’ (retired) for two pears, ‘Kind & Cosy’ for two hearts and ‘Gorgeous Grunge’ for the background on ‘Sahara Sand’ paper.

What a perfect pair card 2

Embellishments I used on this card are ‘Chevron’ ribbon (in brushing bride colour), pearl basic jewel, dazzling details and baker’s twine.
