Notepad folder & Gift bag

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka

I made this notepad folder and gift bag for Kate, who helped organising the bilateral meeting for me last week. Kate arranged everything – the meeting room, interpreters, catering, official dinner and gifts for the delegates. She did everything so well and I just can’t thank her enough.

I have very little time so I decided to recycle the design of the notepad folder I made a few weeks ago.

I kept it simple on the inside and made another two small notepads to fill in the small pocket.

I used two sheets of A4 cardstock for the gift bag, and decorated with a few stamps.

Handmade A5 notebook

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka

I have an important meeting of two days early next week. While I’m quite busy reading all the briefs in a big folder, I need to craft – it’s my weekend after all! This is what I decided to make.

Bilat note 1

It’s a thin A5 notebook for jotting down important notes relevant to this meeting. One bullet for two birds, right?

So thankful for every bit of you

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka

A few months ago my Avid_Inker friend, Rebecca, taught me how to make little rose flowers from scrap paper. I love how pretty and easy to make they are. I have been making a few of these flowers and using them on several projects since. I used them on this ‘thank you’ card too.

Quilt Prints – thank you card

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka

I need several ‘thank you’ cards for my upcoming holiday trip as we will be meeting lots of family members, friends and ex-colleagues here and there during the trip.

I love patchwork and quilting, but rarely have enough time to do it. I got the ‘Quilt Prints’ stamp set a few days ago and was so excited to get my hands on it. Here is the card.

Little gifts for a friend

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka

One of my dear friends, Dongmei, from New Zealand visited me a few days ago. I met Dongmei many years ago when we both worked at CSIRO. We became good friends and have been trying to catch up with each other once in a while whenever possible.

I wanted to make little gifts for her within little time I had. I chose to make a post-it note cover and a shopping list fridge magnet.

Here is the post-it note cover

Pssst…just a card

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka

Today’s card has no theme, I just wanted to make something using the cute deer stamp I have. The card is 4 ½” × 4 ½”.

Pssst 3

I used ordinary white cardstock (not watercolour paper), ink pads, a blender pen and a white gel pen for the deer.

Pssst 2

Recipe:

Stampin’ Up!: Pink Pirouette CS, Regal Rose and Sahara Sand ink pads, blender pen, Square Lattice embossing folder, ‘Happy Water Colour’ stamp set, Beautiful Wings embosslit

Lawn Fawn: ‘Into the Wood’ stamp set, Let’s Polka DSP

Thanks so very much

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka

I made this card in an usual size of 3”×6” – giving me an excuse to make an envelope for it using the envelope punch board.

Thanks so very much 1

I purposely placed part of the flower hanging beyond the edge of the card and I quite like the look of it.

Thanks so very much 2

Stampin’ Up!: Lucky Limeade ink, Simply scoring tool

Lawn Fawn: Sripty Thanks die, Harold’s ABC’s stamp set, Stitched Leaves dies, Let’s Polka DSP
