Trying Triangles

When sewing patchwork, I love using ‘flying geese’ pattern, which involves joining pieces of triangles together. Today I decided to try using triangles on two cards – both are 4” × 4”.

The three triangles on the first card are Stampin’ Up! ‘Everyday Enchantment’ paper (of course!). To give a different look, I tucked one end of each triangle underneath a flower instead of gluing them completely on the card base.

The flower was made using circles and scallop circles of different sizes and one clay flower, using Stampin’ Up! clay & clay mould, in the centre. The message can be hidden underneath the triangles.

For the second card, I used two pairs of triangles and arranged them in a symmetrical way, but looking a bit less organised. The pattern paper is The Best of My Mind’s Eye.

I added the word ‘hello’, using Lawn Fawn scripty die, and the cotton ribbon printed with triangle banner to the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by & happy crafting!
