Kensington Border – Journaling cards

By Bussakorn Mpelasoka

I am so happy I finished all the albums and they were posted to Tanzania today. Here are more journaling cards to share.

I CAS these journaling cards from the beautiful greeting cards created by Jennifer McGuire. Jennifer is amazing and I learnt so many techniques from her.

I have a much simpler task as I used Memory Box ‘Kensington Border’ die, which is 6” long – perfect match for journaling cards. If you want to create a similar look from a shorter die that you have, go to Jennifer McGuire to see how – she is so clever!

Apart from the front and back page, I used factory made journaling cards here and there throughout the albums to write longer messages.

The photo below was taken in a village called Minziro, which is close to Uganda border. The message was written in Swahili (a language used in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda). Margreth & Joseph, our cousins & hosts, were so kind and generous. They prepared gifts for all of us. The gifts were handmade mat, bags, baskets and a goat!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by & happy crafting!
