Post-it note cover

I made post-it note covers as gifts for some of my friends and colleagues last Christmas. I thought it is not a bad idea to share them with you this month (Christmas in July, smile). Many of us have many love ones to give gifts to and it would be good to start preparing them early, right?

I used core’dinations cardstock (Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Early Espresso) and Everyday Enchantment DSP for all the covers. They were already retired at the time and I got them from Clearance Rack.

I didn’t want to use Christmas theme for the covers so they can be used all year round. But I used Christmas theme on the carrying bags and tags.

Tiny teeny gift bags

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

Super tiny gift bags 1

I need a few tiny teeny gift bags that can accommodate little gifts like a Ferrero Roche or some embellishments. I saw tiny treat box that Sam Donald made and I think it was a perfect size, so I made mine casing Sam’s box.

Super tiny gift bags 2

The finished size of the bags is about 1 3/8” wide and 2” tall. The size of paper needed for each bag is 3” x 6”, score on the long side at 1 3/8”, 2¾”, 4 1/8” and 5½” and score on the short side at 1”. Sam has video tutorial that is very easy to follow.

Sam used ribbon to close her little box and it looks really sweet. I used patterned paper to close my little bags as I don’t have many ribbons in my craft room at the moment. Also, I thought paper band may make it a little easier to slip in and out.

Super tiny gift bags 4

I have made five bags, using different scrap patterned papers I have. I also tried to use different stamps I have to decorate these bags.

Birthday book – Grand finale

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

Hooray! I have finished this Birthday Book. Here are the November and December pages.

Birthday book 31

I love the ice-cream concept and saw many beautiful cards Stampin’ Up! demonstrators made using ‘Sprinkles of Life’ stamp set. I don’t have this set (yet) so I tried using the roundish shape stamp from ‘Layered Letters Alphabet’ for the ice-cream – using the second or third generation of Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dejon, Cucumber Crush and Tip Top Taupe. I think they look like Gelato, umm…yum!  I drew the ice-cream cone on Delightful Dejon and stamped with honeycomb stamp from ‘Butterfly Basics’ stamp set.

For December index page, I used Sweet Li’l Things DSP that have Christmas trees and added a wreath of itty bitty circles and flowers.

When I started this Birthday Book, I gave myself a challenge to use the kitten stamp from ‘Made with Love’ stamp set and Sweet Li’l Things DSP on every index page. I am happy I managed to meet this challenge.

Birthday book – Part 5

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

Birthday book 25

Today’s post is the September and October pages of my Birthday Book.

For September index page, I used the retired ‘Perfectly Preserved’ stamp set for the small pear (in Mint Macaron) and drew a large pear from Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock.

There are a lot going on on the October index page (smile). I used ‘Awesomely Artistic’ stamp set on Tip Top Taupe cardstock to create a planter; ‘Petite Petals’ stamp set and matching punch and ‘Flower Fair’ framelits dies for the flowers; and the ‘Handpicked’ thinlits dies for the label & tag. I also embossed the Pistachio Pudding background with ‘Brick Wall’ embossing folder.

DIY Milk Cartons

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

I didn’t know it is so easy to make my own milk cartons until I saw a video tutorial from Sam Donald. I could make many of them from scratch in not much time at all.

Milk carton 1

The biggest carton was made from 8” x 11” Sahara Sand cardstock, scored along the long edge at 2 5/8”, 5¼”, 7 7/8” and 10½” and along the short edge at 2 5/8”, 6 and 7½”. I used ‘Awesomely Artistic’ stamp set and ‘Hello You’ thinlits dies to decorate this carton.

Milk carton 2

I made also four mini cartons from retired cardstock and patterned paper that I still have and love.

Each of the slightly larger mini cartons was made from 5 ½”x 8¼” cardstock, scored along the long edge at 1 7/8”, 3¾”, 5 5/8” and 7½” and along the short edge at 1 7/8”, 3¾” and 5”. I used ‘Flower Patch’, Amazing Birthday’ and ‘Crazy about You’ stamp sets on these two cartons.

Milk carton 4

Each of the smallest cartons here was made from 5¼” x 7½” cardstock, scored along the long edge at 1¾”, 3½”, 5¼” and 7” and along the short edge at 1¾”, 3¾” and 4¾”. I used Amazing Birthday’, ‘Butterfly Basics’ and ‘Petite Petals’ stamp sets on these two cartons.

Birthday book – Part 3

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

Birthday Book 15

On May index page, I used a banner stamp from ‘Amazing Birthday’ stamp set, a kitten stamp from ‘Made with Love’, Sweet Li’l Thing DSP and washi tape.

Birthday Book 14

I love most of the 2015-2017 in-colours, but didn’t like Delightful Dejon at first. After I used this colour in this project, I started to love it!

Birthday Book 16

For June index page, I used the letter and shape stamps from ‘Layered Letters Alphabet’ to spell the word ‘meow’. I always love alphabet stamps because I can use them to spell any words I want.

Birthday Book 17

Have I mentioned I love…love the ‘Writing Notes’ background stamp? Yeah, I love it very much and will soon try using it on cards.
