Gift pocket from packing paper

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Canberra

I had a craft get together with two friends this afternoon. One of them, Michaeli, would like to make some gift card holders. Here is one of the three holders we made.

The pocket is made of Stampin’ Up! brown packing paper. I used Stampin’ Up! Amazing Birthday stamp set to decorate the pocket, added also a butterfly from Butterfly Basics stamp set.

The finished size of the pocket is 5” x 5¾”, large enough that we can also use it for other gifts like a chocolate bar, hot chocolate sachets etc. But because our theme today is gift card holders I chose to make a large tag, which acts as a card as well as a gift card holder, to put in the pocket.

I hope you like the idea of making use of the brown packing paper that we all received quite a lot of.

My work Kikki K planner

I use two separate planners one is purely for work and one for any other things in my life, like papercrafting (smile)! My work planner was very plain as it went straight from the shop to the office. This weekend I decided to bring it home and give it a bit of love – just a quick one though.

At the front I added a bird to the rubber band. As usual, I keep lots of post-it notes of various shapes and sizes in my planner.

I used journaling cards (most in golden theme), washi tape and paper clips to decorate all the section dividers and as a bookmark.

I used a journaling card which says ‘to be continued’ for the divider of ‘Follow Up’ section (smile).

Christmas gift tag – Day 5

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Canberra

For today’s tag, I used the dark blue ink to create the night sky and VersaMark ink and white embossing powder the snowfall. I added a row of houses and a row of trees using two of the three edgelits in Sleigh Ride edgelits die set, which is one of the new products in 2015 Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalogue.

Christmas gift tag – Day 4

I made not just one but two tags, both using the cute little bunny stamp from Stampin’ Up! Made with Love stamp set.

Christmas gift tag Day 4a

I used Whisper White cardstock, sponged in strips of different shades of green and blue as the base of one tag, then added a bunny and the words ‘hoppy Christmas’.

The other tag was made out of Pistachio Pudding cardstock and the bunny was added on a circle and a scallop circle. Again, I added the words ‘hoppy Christmas’, but on little Whisper White banners.

Christmas gift tag – Day 3

Today’s tag is another simple one that I took an advantage of beautiful paper from Merry Moments DSP.

Christmas gift tag Day 3a

The tag itself is made out of Strawberry Slush cardstock. I added a good size of patterned paper, a Christmas message on a banner and a deer paper clip. The message is from Embellished Ornaments stamp set, which is one of many new stamp sets in 2015 Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalogue and will be available from 1 September.

Christmas gift tag – Day 2

I made today’s tag out of one of the patterned paper from Merry Moments DSP so I don’t have to do much work because the paper by itself is already beautiful. Well, today is a weekday, you know!

Christmas gift tag Day 2a

I added strips of Vellum with torn edges and Strawberry Slush cardstock vertically in the middle of the tag and also a little dear from Made with Love stamp set and a Christmas wish message from Joyful Season stamp set on a Whisper White piece across.

Christmas gift tag – Day 1

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Canberra

I usually do my craft during the weekend, but haven’t been able to do much during the past few weekends. I am missing my craft room a lot and decided that I will make one Christmas gift tag each day of this week. Here is the tag I made today.

Christmas gift tag Day 1a

I used Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Pines stamp set, the matching Perfect Pines framelits dies and Sleigh Ride Edgelits die, all from Stampin’ Up! 2015 Holiday catalogue.
