Honeycomb Happiness bags

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

When I saw the ice-cream stamp in Honeycomb Happiness SAB stamp set, I felt like eating gelato – many scoops of them! Today I used three scoops ice-cream to decorate mini treat bags.

On Sahara Sand bag, I stamped the word ‘hello’ and smiling face from another SAB stamp set called Hello. I used the new Bow Paperclip to hold the ice-cream and message banner to the bag. I really like the soft and gentle look of the colour combination on this bag.

I used the wheel and swirly circle stamps from the upcoming Balloon Celebration stamp set to create pattern on the Mint Macaron bag body. It took me a while to decide to order the silver cording trim from the Holiday catalogue and I only got it the day before yesterday. It is so easy to tie a pretty bow out of it and I wish I had bought it a long time ago.

It is quite warm in Canberra today and it would be nice to sit together with friends and eat gelato. Thank you so much for stopping by and happy crafting!

My 2016 Kikki K work planner

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I finished personalising my work planner for 2016 last night, have taken some photos today and am so excited to share what I did.

Here is the main dashboard, I added some post-it page flags on journaling cards before the page divider. The wooden butterfly on the page divider was a left over from Watercolour Wishes card kit.

On TO DO page divider, I only added two die-cut butterflies. I made a pocket page for this section to keep a notepad and some loose note pieces. The vellum pocket is from Botanical Garden designer vellum sack (2016 SAB item) and the silver and gold leaves were die-cut with Botanical Builder framelits dies.

I have also made a shaker bookmark from Project Life page protector, patterned paper and sequins.

2016 work planner 5 At the end of TO DO section and before MEETINGS section I added another pocket page. I used Botanical Gardens DSP for the pocket and spine of the notepad, and also added some die-cut flowers.

I mixed gold and silver items here and there on the MEETINGS page divider. The flowery paper on the left is from Gold Soiree DSP that I got from the Year End Sale at very…very cheap price!

I also decorated the notepad that came with the planner, just a little – nothing crazy!  I got this pen during my recent Japan trip, it writes so well.

I made another five cards using the same Flowering Fields SAB stamp set and almost the same design as yesterday’s cards with a few modifications. Can you spot the differences?

For today’s cards I used Flowering Fields, another beautiful free stamp set during sale-a-bration (starts 5 January 2016). The design of these cards was inspired by a gift tag shown in one of Stampin’ Up! Success magazines (available only for demonstrators). This was the first card I made (in Soft Sky and Watermelon Wonder).

I loved it so I made four more cards in different colour combinations (Pink Pirouette, Basic Grey and Perfect Plum; Sahara Sand and Primrose Petals, Pistachio Pudding and Tempting Turquoise; and Wisteria Wonder and Calypso Coral). I used stencil for the stripy background. The Wisteria Wonder one is a bit too loud for my liking.

I use many small notepads in any one time for writing my wish list, project ideas, etc. I like to make my own notepads so I can regulate their size and thickness to suit the purposes and I also enjoy decorating them. These three notepads are of A6 size. The A6 memo pad of 200 sheets costs only $2 at Officework, and we can make tonnes of notepads from it.

I love this ‘just for you’ message, it is big and bold. It is from a 2016 SAB stamp set called Botanicals for You.

Here comes again the cutie chic!

I used the old stamps I have in my craft room for this last notepad.

And here are the backs of the notepads, I kept them simple.

I love the notecard with little chic from Honeycomb Happiness in baking paper mini treat bag I posted this morning a lot, so I decided to make another one – with yellow chic this time.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas yesterday.

As I have been travelling a lot with work during the past few months, I decided to stay put in Canberra during this long break. Apart from catching up with a few friends I intend to craft…craft…and craft!

Sale-a-bration items for 2016 are all amazing (available from 5 January 2016, and free for every $90 order from Stampin’ Up!). The first SAB item I chose for myself was the cute Honeycomb Happiness stamp set that I used on this card. The card is 3 ½” x 5” and instead of using an envelope, I made a mini treat bag from baking paper for it (because it is so cute I want it to be seen through the bag).

The two patterned paper strips is from Botanical Gardens DSP in the 2016 Occasions catalogue. I used stamps from Botanicals for You, another SAB item for the flowers.
