Rose Wonder cards

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I have two cards to share today.

The birthday card was made using Rose Wonder stamp set. I am still learning with water-colouring. I am happy with the leaves, but oh I am still a long way to go with the rose. The sentiment ‘happy birthday’ is from Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set. I love that it is a very small size, not to compete with the large rose.

The thank you card is too easy, just die cut a rose using Rose Gardens thinlits die and glue it on paper!

Flip & fold mini album – measurements

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Canberra

A few people have asked me for the measurements of this flip & fold mini album that I posted a few days ago.

I am not very good at explaining, but here I try.

Steps:

  1. Prepare and join the 4 panels, using the measurements and order of joining shown in the diagram below.

  1. Hide the joining area with a photo mat (using DSP) or a pocket for photo mat.
  2. Below is the measurements for the pockets for photo mat.

I hope this makes sense. If you have further questions please let me know.

I Love You Sew

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

The new hostess stamp set ‘Love You Sew’ (Occasions Catalogue, page 51) is a must have stamp set for me as I love sewing (second to making cards).

Love you sew card 1b

I used Sahara Sand as a card base and My Party Time DSP stack (Occasions Catalogue, page 5) for the four scallop squares. I like this DSP stack, but it is too big pack for a hobby card maker like me so I didn’t order it. Luckily my dear friend & up-line, Lynn Padman, gave me a quarter of the pack a few days ago – she has always been so kind and giving.

Flip & fold mini album

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Canberra

I love making mini albums, particularly for my work trips as I don’t take as many photos as my holiday trips. This mini album will be for my work trip to India last November.

I used white paper as skeleton for all the pages, pockets & photo mat inserts. The white paper reminds me of the beautiful white marble Taj Mahal, where I had a chance to visit. Although I had to wake up so early for a long…road trip from Delhi to Agra and back to Delhi in time to catch an afternoon flight to Mumbai, it was

well worth it!

I used Stampin’ Up! Project Life ‘Remember This’ stamp set (Annual Catalogue, page 54) for all the words in this mini album.  There are many pockets of various sizes throughout the album for photos, notes and tickets, etc.

Bold Butterfly card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

My card today is a very quick and simple one, with just two butterflies, die-cut using Bold Butterfly framelits dies (Annual Catalogue, page 172), a strip of Birthday Bouquet DSP (Occasions Catalogue, page 9) and a message ‘dear friends’ from Birthday Blooms stamp set (Occasions Catalogue, page 9).
