Marbled gift tag

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka

I used a scrap piece of Little Lime Twist cardstock and some heart shapes that are left over from previous projects to make this gift tag.

I used the new background stamp set ‘Marbled’ on the Little Lime Twist scrap piece – it looks lovely and I like it a lot. I added a bow, die cut using black cardstock and ‘Everyday Jar’ framelits dies at top of tag and a message ‘love ya!’ from the new stamp set ‘Text Ya Later’ on a tiny little white banner.

CASing 2016 Holiday Catalogue

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Canberra

I will be off on holiday for about two and a half week from this afternoon. Although I will enjoy the relaxing time away from work, I will surely miss my craft room so I decided to do quick & easy craft projects to say bye to it. The 2016 Holiday catalogue has so many wonderful projects, so I CAS (copy and share) some of them!

I CAS these two cards from page 29. I added coloured cardstock, Real Red in one and Tempting Turquoise in the other, beneath the Sahara Sand piece.

I CAS these Christmas tags from page 4. The catalogue ones used Candy Cane Lane DSP, which I didn’t order, so I used stamps from a few stamp sets to create my own DSP.

My apricot jam

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

We have two apricot trees in the backyard and they produce lots and lots of fruit most years. I often carry bags and bags of them for colleagues, a few friends often come and pick their own and birds always help themselves, and yet there are usually plenty of them left. This year I decided to try making jam. I made 16 jars and could have made many more, but I ran out of jars. I made tags for the jars, have given a few away and will carry some for colleagues tomorrow.

I have really enjoyed this Christmas – New Year break. Not going anywhere turned out to be quite relaxing and I have had plenty of time to craft (made me very happy!). Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you find something you like on my blog.

Joyful Season shaker tags

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

This evening is nice and quiet for me so I decided to do a bit of craft. I made two shaker gift tags again (because they are fun to make), using Stampin’ Up! Joyful Season stamp set. I embossed the Smoky Slate and Sahara Sand tags using Stampin’ Up! Woodland embossing folder, then added birds and sequins.

I tried to be a little creative in tying Baker’s twine to the tags .

I added Christmas message onto the back of each tag.

Christmas shaker tags

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I got a fuse tool a few days ago and have tried using it to make these shaker tags. The tool works quite well and I am happy with it. I used Stampin’ Up! Sweet Li’l Things DSP on one tag and Merry Moments on the other. The double sided DSP makes each tag having different looks on each side.

For the Sweet Li’l Things tag, only one side qualifies a shaker tag. The other side I used a fox stamp from Life in the Forest stamp set (retired) and a Santa hat stamp from Owl Occasions stamp set (also retired).

The shaking sequins can be seen on both sides of the Merry Moments tag. I added a Christmas tree stamp from Peaceful Pines stamp set on one side ad from Life in the Forest on the other side.

Christmas gift tag – Day 5

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Canberra

For today’s tag, I used the dark blue ink to create the night sky and VersaMark ink and white embossing powder the snowfall. I added a row of houses and a row of trees using two of the three edgelits in Sleigh Ride edgelits die set, which is one of the new products in 2015 Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalogue.
