Hey Chick – baby card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I used a sale-a-bration stamp set called ‘Hey, Chick’ for this card. I stamped a few eggs on the Sahara Sand background and a mummy chick on a circle watercolour paper, which was mounted onto a red scallop circle. I added natural trim ribbon and attached an egg to the ribbon with linen thread.

I also added a rooster on a circle watercolour paper on the inside of the card.

Baby shower cards

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Canberra

I made two baby shower cards yesterday, one in So Saffron and one in Pink Pirouette.

The stamp sets I used were: Moon Baby (for the baby, umbrella, stars and message), Lift Me Up (for the clouds), Basket Bunch (for the bunny) and Santa’s Sleigh (for the teddy bear).

I thought the watercolour paper circle doesn’t stand out well on the So Saffron background so I added Pear Pizzazz scallop circle in between them.

Purrrfect baby card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Canberra

I need a baby card for my colleague who just delivered a baby girl, Sophia. As I have been so busy this weekend, I decided to recycle the design (again!) of a baby card I made two years ago.

I used Hardwood background stamp for the drawers, Made with Love for the kitten, Owl punch for the dresses and the retired Spring Samplers for the bunny and booties.

Baby shaker card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

Happy New Year everyone! I wish 2016 is filled with happiness, good health and success for us all.

A project I would like to share with you today is a quick baby shaker card.

Baby shaker card 1c

I first water-coloured a piece of paper to use as background of shaker frame, inserted it in project life page protector, stamped message at the corner of the frame in white Stayzon ink, added sequins, fused the frame and adhered the shaker frame onto Sahara Sand card base.

I also added a little bunny on the shaker frame next to the message ‘hoppy little baby’ and stamped another message on the card base below the frame. All stamps used on this card is from Stampin’ Up! Made with Love stamp set.

Welcome little Hazel

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

I made this baby’s card for a colleague who just got her little daughter, Hazel. Hazel was born at least two weeks before her due date, but both Hazel and her mum are fine. Welcome little Hazel!

Welcome little Hazel 1

I used quite a few brand new products on this card. The baby’s T looks a bit boyish to my liking even though I used girly colours, so I added a bit of doily. I saw a cute card with three bibs that Lynn got it as a swap card at the convention. I love it! so I made one for this card. There isn’t much space left so I had to make a much smaller one.

Welcome little Hazel 2

I added ‘Hazel’ name on the inside of the card.

Here are the materials I used:

Stamp: Made with Love, Back to Basics Alphabet

Paper: Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Crisp Cantaloupe, Sweet Li’l Things DSP

Ink: Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron, Pink Pirouette, Brushing Bride

Tool: Little Letters Thinlits Dies, 1 ¼” scallop circle punch, ½” circle punch, Itty Bitty Shaped punch pack

Sweet Baby

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka

I made this card to participate in ‘Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge’. I found this challenge today on Connie Stewart blog. I have been following Connie’s work for about two years now – love her work a lot!

Here is my participating card.

Sweet baby_SSS challenge 2 Below is the sketch.

The words ‘sweet baby’ is from Stampin’ Up! ‘Baby, We’ve Grown’ stamp set. I added bright watercolour look on the background of the words. I embossed a piece of Pink Pirouette paper with ‘Square Lattice’ embossing folder and used as a panel behind the three circles, thought DSP may make the card looks too busy.

Sweet baby_SSS challenge 1 I added natural twine, vellum butterflies and candy dots as final touches.

Dresser baby card

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator, Canberra

Today’s card is for my friend in Margaret River, who has just got a baby girl.

Dresser baby card 1

I was so inspired by many dresser baby cards, both for boys & girls, I saw on Pinterest. Now is an opportunity for me to make one. I don’t know whose original idea it is, the credit is for whoever came up with this brilliant idea and all those who made the cards that inspired me.

Dresser baby card 2

The card is in Pink Pirouette, little characters are from the retired ‘Spring Samplers’ stamp set and dresses were made using the ‘Owl’ punch. I don’t have the ‘Decorative Label’ punch so I used ‘Label Collection’ framelits for the legs of the dresser. I used ‘candy dots’ for the drawers’ knobs, had to mix the colours as I don’t enough in the same colour.
