Hello You Birthday Card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

This birthday card is another quick and easy one to make.

Hello You Birthday Card a

I added patterned paper with the check dots on the Very Vanilla card base. I attached the flower (using patterned paper for the bottom layer and White Vellum for the top two) on the top left corner. I die-cut three of the word ‘Happy’ using Hello You thinlits dies and glue them on top of each other to make it thicker. I stamped the word ‘birthday’, using Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set, on a small flower and tied this little flower with the word ‘Happy’ using the silver twine. As a final touch, I added a button, a pearl and some sequins.

I made this card for a team member who is a fish lover for his birthday.

I used Seaside Shore, one of the stamp sets I have been using every so often. The beautiful patterned paper from By the Shore DSP made this card so easy to make.

Rose Wonder cards

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I have two cards to share today.

The birthday card was made using Rose Wonder stamp set. I am still learning with water-colouring. I am happy with the leaves, but oh I am still a long way to go with the rose. The sentiment ‘happy birthday’ is from Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set. I love that it is a very small size, not to compete with the large rose.

The thank you card is too easy, just die cut a rose using Rose Gardens thinlits die and glue it on paper!

Rose Wonder birthday cards

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I made two birthday cards from Rose Wonder stamp set and the matching Rose Garden thinlits die (in Occasions Catalogue). I really love this bundle, but somehow I am still struggling with creating things with it.

On the first card I die-cut three roses using a smaller rose die, two in Very Vanilla and one in Melon Mambo from the SAB Perfectly Artistic DSP.

After taking two photos of the card I tried adding drops of glossy accent here and there to create the look of water droplets, but they didn’t turn out well. So I decided to remove them and covered the scratch marks with sequins. The card now looks busy, but I can still use it.

For the second card, I added colours to the rose using Brushing Bride and Calypso Coral. I stamped happy birthday on vellum with Versamark and embossed in silver.

Botanical Blooms in a box

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I made this mini version card in a box as a birthday card for my husband.

Botanical Blooms in a box 1a

I chose to fill the box with various shapes and sizes of leaves and flowers from Botanical Blooms stamp set and the matching Botanical Builder framelits dies (in Occasions Catalogue).

I used a lot more leaves than flowers so it doesn’t girly. The box is made out of a cardstock of 2 ½” x 10 ½” and the finished size is 2 ½” wide, 2 ½” long and 2 ½” high.

Occasions Catalogue 2016 – sneak peek 3

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

This is another sneak peek project for the Occasions Catalogue 2016. The new products I used for this card are Rose Wonder stamp set (sentiment) and the matching Rose Garden thinlits die (flowers).

This card is 3 ¾” x 5” and I used a stencil to create the circle background in Wisteria Wonder. The three flowers are in Perfect Plum, Pool Party and the old Crisp Cantaloupe.

Six-Sided Sampler Happy Birthday card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

Six-Sided Sampler birthday card 1

I am getting a little bit better with making cards for male recipients. I found Six-Sided Sampler is one of the stamp sets that are good for both male and female themes. This is a birthday card I made for David. The word ‘Happy Birthday’ is from Butterfly Basics stamp set.

The card will be signed by everyone in the team and my team is currently working on projects relating to tropical fruit, so I added some wooden fruit shapes on the hexagons inside of the card.
