Hey Chick – gift tag & Easter card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I used the sale-a-bration ‘Hey, Chick’ stamp set to make also a gift tag and an Easter card.

On the tag, I used ‘Hey, Chick’ stamp set for the mummy chick, ‘Basket Bunch’ stamp set for the eggs, and the ‘Basket Builder’ framelits dies for the basket. I glued linen thread of different lengths on the inside of the basket then attached the basket on the patterned paper tag (using glue at the top where the linen thread is and dimensional at the bottom, so the thickness is somewhat even). I then added the mummy chick and a few eggs onto the basket.

Then I decided to use this tag to make an Easter card. I stamped the Easter blessing message from ‘Suite Sayings’ stamp set using VersaMark and embossed in gold on the right side of a Very Vanilla cardstock piece, then attached the tag on the left side. I used Mint Macaron cardstock for the card base.

Happy Easter card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I haven’t had a chance to craft for several days, getting rusty with ideas, but craving to make some cards. I started with this Easter card.

I used Stampin’ Up! Easter Lamb stamp as well as a few other bits and pieces I could grab from my stash.

In addition to this card, I would also like to share a photo of the giant sweet strawberry that I ate so many of them while in Korea on a work trip, yummmm.

I left Australia when the temperature was over 30 degree Celsius, arrived in Korea when it was around 0 degree Celsius and my luggage (with my warm clothes) didn’t arrive until the fifth day. I had to spend my first afternoon in Lotte department store, looking for some clothes to keep me warm!

‘Easter Bunny Basket’ from ‘Ovals Collection’ Framelits Dies

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hi everyone, I bought the ‘Ovals Collection’ framelits dies with ‘Oh Hello’ stamp set in a bundle, which gave me 15% saving!  There are 7 framelits of different sizes in the set and the largest one has pretty scallop edge.  I found these framelits very useful.

Last night I used the largest framelit to make an Easter Bunny Basket.  I got the idea from Connie Stewart.  Connie used ‘Everybunny’ stamp set to decorate her oval basket – very cute!  I don’t have that stamp set yet, so I decided to make a bunny out of the basket itself, using smaller framelits in the set to create the ears and the circle and scallop circle punches to create eyes, nose and tail.  I reduced the size of the basket box, so I don’t have to use so many eggs to fill the basket and I drew the carrot!
