Tea for Two Mug Dresses

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hi everyone.  Yesterday was Deb’s birthday. Deb is Tania (my upline)’s upline and has been very supportive to me. So yesterday morning before I went to stamp camp, I sewed a mug dress for her using my favourite ‘Tea for Two’ fabric.  Deb loves vintage style and her vintage cards are beautiful and inspiring.  I chose to sew ‘flying geese’ patchwork pattern for her.

I was still in sewing mood when I came back from stamp camp so I sewed another two simpler mug dresses. One I used applique technique with two circle sizes (created with Circle No. 2 Originals). The other one I just showcased the pretty pinwheel patterned fabric.

Here is how they look like.

And here is the birthday card that I made for Deb. I used the layout that Kristina Werner used in one of her teachings on how to mix and match designer series paper.

I will try to put together the measurements for the mug dressed and post on my blog in the next couple days.

Thank you for visiting and ‘Happy Crafting’.

Blooming in a Jar

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hi everyone, I am still in love with the stamps in ‘Perfectly Preserved’ stamp set.  Today I used the ‘jar’ stamp from this set on a sheet of vellum to create a vase for my flowers.  The three flowers in the jar were created using this ‘Perfectly Preserved’ stamp set, ‘Blooming Marvellous’ stamp set and the little flower punch from the ‘Itty Bitty Punch Pack’.  The leaves were made from ‘Little Leaves Sizzlits’.   The little butterfly stamp is from ‘A Fitting Occasions’ stamp set.  I cut a line at the top of the jar and insert the stem of the flowers and leaves into the jar. I got the idea of using vellum as a jar from Jacquii McLeay.

Floral Card with Vintage Verses

By Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hi everyone,

This morning I went through the freebies I got from sale-a-bration, and really want to try out the ‘Vintage Verses’ stamp set. This set has four verses with beautiful vintage decoration. Stampin’ Up! is so generous to give away many wonderful products during the sale-a-bration this year.

I used one of the verses to decorate a floral card, made using the largest framelit of the ‘Floral Frames Framelits’ set, which I was inspired by Mary Fish of Stampin’ Pretty. Here is my product.

I AM BACK! (with the new seasonal catalogue)

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka, Stampin’ Up! ® Independent Demonstrator

Hello everyone. Sorry I have been inactive from my website for a few weeks. I started posting a few things when the website wasn’t really ready. Then I had to take a break from it for a while (so many wonderful SU products were waiting for me to play with). Last Sunday I decided to continue working with my website. Although it is simple and there are still things I need to fix/improve, I am happy as I can share my work to those who love craft and Stampin’ Up! products.

One hiccup! I tried searching my website name (Joyful Craft) and got someone else website. I tried searching my name and got those publications I wrote years ago when I was doing PhD study in New Zealand and when I was working at CSIRO. As ignorant as I was about how things work, I changed the site name (now ‘Wrap in Ink’) and address (https://wrapinink.wordpress.com’) and you know what…it didn’t help.  I just learnt today that it usually takes a few weeks for the newly registered website to appear through search engine. Anyway since I have just changed my website name and address, you may have to reach my website by entering the web address for the time being. Thank you for your patience.

Well, I promise to stay connected from now on.

Let’s talk about something more interesting, the the new seasonal catalogue! I love so…so many products in the new catalogue.  Well, since it is close to the Valentine Day, I’m going to share with you what I have made using ‘Heart a Flutter’ Bundle from the new catalogue.
