Personalise my Kikki K notebook

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I have loved pretty stationery since I was young. I got this pretty blue A5 notebook from Kikki K, one of my favourite stationery shops. While it is already pretty, I decided to personalise it so I can see from far that it is mine.

I used various Stampin’ Up! dies to make a butterfly (Butterflies thinlits dies), flowers (Botanical Builder framelits dies), and leaves (Stylish Stems framelits dies). I attached these shapes on linen thread and then threaded this through holes in the notebook.

My 2016 Kikki K work planner

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I finished personalising my work planner for 2016 last night, have taken some photos today and am so excited to share what I did.

Here is the main dashboard, I added some post-it page flags on journaling cards before the page divider. The wooden butterfly on the page divider was a left over from Watercolour Wishes card kit.

On TO DO page divider, I only added two die-cut butterflies. I made a pocket page for this section to keep a notepad and some loose note pieces. The vellum pocket is from Botanical Garden designer vellum sack (2016 SAB item) and the silver and gold leaves were die-cut with Botanical Builder framelits dies.

I have also made a shaker bookmark from Project Life page protector, patterned paper and sequins.

2016 work planner 5 At the end of TO DO section and before MEETINGS section I added another pocket page. I used Botanical Gardens DSP for the pocket and spine of the notepad, and also added some die-cut flowers.

I mixed gold and silver items here and there on the MEETINGS page divider. The flowery paper on the left is from Gold Soiree DSP that I got from the Year End Sale at very…very cheap price!

I also decorated the notepad that came with the planner, just a little – nothing crazy!  I got this pen during my recent Japan trip, it writes so well.

Paper gift tote

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I saw many cute paper totes on Pinterest and really wanted to make one.  Lucky I found a video tutorial at Dawn’s Stamping Thoughts. Dawn made it very easy to follow. Here is the tote I made for a friend.

I filled the tote with a few handmade cards with envelopes. The gift box from brown packing paper I made last week also fit in this tote.

The butterflies from Stampin’ Up! Butterflies thinlits dies are so pretty and will add beauty to almost any projects. Here I used a solid butterfly from cardstock and a delicate butterfly from baking paper.

Mini envelope album – Part one

By: Bussakorn Mpelasoka — Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator, Canberra

I made this envelope album for the photos I took during my work trip to Korea. I never printed photos for work trip before, but there were many interesting things I did and saw during that trip that make me want to album them with some journaling. As they relate to work I will only share the album itself without the photos or the journal.

For this album, I used six standard-size envelopes and the pretty ‘Best Day Ever’ DSP (2015 sale‑a‑bration).

Notepad for my wish list

It is only about two weeks away from 2 June when Stampin’ Up! new annual catalogue (2015-2016) is live. I love so many things in this catalogue and need a notepad to jot down my long wish list (smile & sigh). I used an inexpensive notepad, found in many $2 shops in a pack of five, and dressed it up with cardstock, pattern paper (retiring ‘Flower Pots’) and a butterfly (Stampin’ Up! Butterflies Thinlits dies).

SU wish list notepad 1

I used little arrow post-it note (from Kikki K) to mark the different categories of my wish list.

I also made a spare one. This notepad was made from scratch using unused pages of an old exercise book, cut to 4 1/8” x 5 3/4”, dressed up with yellow cardstock and retiring ‘All Bloom’ DSP stack. I also added flowers made using two sizes of circle punches (imitating the flowers on the DSP) at the bottom. I thought it looked a bit too busy so I added a piece of white paper with a message to cover a portion of the DSP.

In My Heart – Desktop Calendar

By Bussakorn Mpelasoka

I love the desktop calendar I made last month and thought it would make a good gift for friends. I thought I should start exploring some designs for the 2016 calendar. I know there are still almost three-quarters of 2015 left, but I am slow so I better start early.

Here is my January page.

In my heart_Desktop calendar 4

The page size of this calendar is 4 1/8”x 4 3/4”. I gave myself a challenge that I will use the girl stamps from Mama Elephant ‘In My Heart’ stamp set and the same colour combination (black, white, red, orange and green) in all the pages.

In my heart_Desktop calendar 3

In my heart_Desktop calendar 1

To make sure I won’t be off the track, I have already made the base of all pages with white paper and black & white patterned paper spine. I stamped all calendar months in Early Espresso and Real Red ink on white paper and mount on Real Red mat. I also stamped all the girls and coloured them in Crisp Cantaloupe (dress), Sahara Sand (skin) and Early Espresso (hair).
