Hello You Birthday Card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

This birthday card is another quick and easy one to make.

Hello You Birthday Card a

I added patterned paper with the check dots on the Very Vanilla card base. I attached the flower (using patterned paper for the bottom layer and White Vellum for the top two) on the top left corner. I die-cut three of the word ‘Happy’ using Hello You thinlits dies and glue them on top of each other to make it thicker. I stamped the word ‘birthday’, using Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set, on a small flower and tied this little flower with the word ‘Happy’ using the silver twine. As a final touch, I added a button, a pearl and some sequins.

Hello You Thinlits Dies

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I made another quick water-colouring card this morning. This time I used the current Stampin’ Up! ‘Elegant Eggplant’.

Hello You Thinlits Dies a

The word ‘happy’ was die-cut using Hello You Thinlits Dies. The leaves and Elegant Eggplant flower are from Watercolor Words stamp set. I used 1 ¼” scallop circle and Petite Petals punches for the vellum layers of the flower.

Here is the inside of the card. The flower stamp here is also from Watercolor Words stamp set.

Botanical blooms – thinking of you

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I like this Bermuda Bay colour, but haven’t used it for ages so I pulled it out for this thinking of you card.

At the bottom of the card I used a leaf stamp from Botanical Blooms stamp set in white craft ink and added die-cut leaves using White Vellum.

I added some sequins to hide the glue marks.

Happy Father’s Day card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Canberra

We were out and about most of yesterday, but I managed to make a Father’s Day card for Freddie on Friday night. When I don’t have much time or run out of ideas, I often go to pattern paper for a rescue.

Father's Day card 3

I used Pistachio Pudding (retired, but still available on Clearance Rack) as card base, greenish-bluish pattern paper, Stampin’ Up! Hello You thinlits dies, Watercolor Wings and Crazy About You stamp sets for this card. If I have more time I would replace the So Saffron banner with the Basic Gray.

I added a bit of decoration inside of the card too.

Gift pocket from packing paper

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Canberra

I had a craft get together with two friends this afternoon. One of them, Michaeli, would like to make some gift card holders. Here is one of the three holders we made.

The pocket is made of Stampin’ Up! brown packing paper. I used Stampin’ Up! Amazing Birthday stamp set to decorate the pocket, added also a butterfly from Butterfly Basics stamp set.

The finished size of the pocket is 5” x 5¾”, large enough that we can also use it for other gifts like a chocolate bar, hot chocolate sachets etc. But because our theme today is gift card holders I chose to make a large tag, which acts as a card as well as a gift card holder, to put in the pocket.

I hope you like the idea of making use of the brown packing paper that we all received quite a lot of.
