Swirly Bird on Stylish Stems

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I made this card (3 ¼” x 5 ½”) for a dear friend whose mother is not well.

I used Swirly Bird stamp set and Swirly Scribbles thinlits dies for the flower (in Sweet Sugarplum and Very Vanilla) and Stylish Stems framelits dies for its stem and leaves (in Mint Macaron). The message is from the classic ‘Thoughts & Prayers’ stamp set.

Project Life – Thailand part 2

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Canberra

I have managed to print some photos from our recent holiday trip in Thailand and have two mini project life pockets to share today.

I started with Chiangmai even though not the first province we visited because I have many fond memories about this place. Chiangmai is the second largest city after Bangkok, located in mountainous area in the north of Thailand. There is no sea, but some lovely, refreshing waterfalls.

These photos were taken at the downstream of ‘Mae Sa’ waterfall.

Pretty Kitty – Shaker card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Canberra

I wanted to make a cute card to say ‘hello’ to a friend. I wanted it to have lots of flower and sparkles, but not too…too girly. This is the card and I am happy with how it looks.

Pretty Kitty shaker card a

I decided to go for a shaker frame card so I can put lots and lots of sequins. I also added the swirly die-cut around the shaker frame. I chose this kitten stamp from Pretty Kitty stamp set as it seems a perfect choice for the purpose. I chose Soft Sky and Whisper White cardstock to make the card sweet, but not too…too girly.

Another Birthday Book

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

It has been quite a while since I made a bigger project than a card. Today I started making another birthday book, which will be given away as a gift. The first birthday book I made can be found here part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5 and part 6.

Similar to my first book, it will probably take me a few weeks to finish this one, but I want to share what I have made so far. Here is the book cover, using Botanical Blooms stamp set and Botanical Builder Framelits Dies.

Birthday Book 2a

Birthday Book 2b

I used Floral Wings hostess stamp set for the vase and Birthday Blooms for the flower on January divider page.

Birthday Book 2c

Birthday Book 2d

For February divider page, I added white embossing paste over the circle stencil on Flirty Flamingo cardstock, added black Swirly Scribble and a few flowers.

Birthday Book 2e

I used slightly thick (120 g/m2) colour print/photocopy paper for the pages. I stamped the pages with Stampin’ Up! Writing Notes background stamp.

Birthday Book 2f

And here is the divider page for March on which I stamped a large flower and a butterfly (Versamark & silver embossing powder) using Best Thoughts hostess stamp set.

SU new in-colours – round 2

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I made five monotone cards using the same card layout, but in five different colours. The five colours are Stampin’ Up! 2016-2018 In-colours.

SU new in-colours 2a

I tried using both cardstock and ink pad on each card. I used various stamp sets, Rose Wonder, Suite Sayings and Watercolor Wings, for the messages; and Papillon Potpourri for the butterflies. I used Swirly Scribbles Thinlits to die-cut the white scribbles underneath the butterflies.

The cards are 4” x 4”. I made envelopes for these cards, but kept decoration very simple.

Swirly Scribbles

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I still enjoy exploring this new Swirly Scribbles Thinlits, which I used again on today’s card. I used the new 2016-2018 in-colour, Peekaboo Peach, cardstock as card base.

I added two little leaves made using Botanical Blooms stamp set and Botanical Builder Framelits. The message ‘You are so kind’ is from the current Watercolor Wings stamp set.
