New In-colours

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Canberra

Today I have had a chance to get my hands on the new beautiful in-colour ink pads. I CAS a card in the new catalogue (page 134), but made a few modifications.

Thinking of You a

I used two new in-colours, Lucky Lime Twist and Powder Pink, combined with Soft Sky and Whisper White.

Personalise my Kikki K calendar

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I usually make my own desktop calendar from scratch, but I have been so busy during the past several months and couldn’t make one for this 2017 so I bought one from Kikki K. I have managed to personalise some months (for now).

Swirly Bird on Stylish Stems

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I made this card (3 ¼” x 5 ½”) for a dear friend whose mother is not well.

Swirly Bird on Stylish Stems a

I used Swirly Bird stamp set and Swirly Scribbles thinlits dies for the flower (in Sweet Sugarplum and Very Vanilla) and Stylish Stems framelits dies for its stem and leaves (in Mint Macaron). The message is from the classic ‘Thoughts & Prayers’ stamp set.

Decorating a file folder

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Canberra

I have to do some work this weekend plus lots of house chores. During a few minutes break I decided to quickly decorate my work file folder.

Decorating file folder bI did very little, just cut a piece of plain-ish pattern paper to fit the front pocket of the folder. I typed the name of the file on a small strip of the leftover piece, attached it on the main piece and added three die-cut leaves, and a button with twine bow.

Now I can work with a big smile on my face!

Hey Chick – gift tag & Easter card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I used the sale-a-bration ‘Hey, Chick’ stamp set to make also a gift tag and an Easter card.

Hey Chick Easter card c

On the tag, I used ‘Hey, Chick’ stamp set for the mummy chick, ‘Basket Bunch’ stamp set for the eggs, and the ‘Basket Builder’ framelits dies for the basket. I glued linen thread of different lengths on the inside of the basket then attached the basket on the patterned paper tag (using glue at the top where the linen thread is and dimensional at the bottom, so the thickness is somewhat even). I then added the mummy chick and a few eggs onto the basket.

Then I decided to use this tag to make an Easter card. I stamped the Easter blessing message from ‘Suite Sayings’ stamp set using VersaMark and embossed in gold on the right side of a Very Vanilla cardstock piece, then attached the tag on the left side. I used Mint Macaron cardstock for the card base.

Hey Chick – baby card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I used a sale-a-bration stamp set called ‘Hey, Chick’ for this card. I stamped a few eggs on the Sahara Sand background and a mummy chick on a circle watercolour paper, which was mounted onto a red scallop circle. I added natural trim ribbon and attached an egg to the ribbon with linen thread.

I also added a rooster on a circle watercolour paper on the inside of the card.

Hello You Birthday Card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

This birthday card is another quick and easy one to make.

Hello You Birthday Card a

I added patterned paper with the check dots on the Very Vanilla card base. I attached the flower (using patterned paper for the bottom layer and White Vellum for the top two) on the top left corner. I die-cut three of the word ‘Happy’ using Hello You thinlits dies and glue them on top of each other to make it thicker. I stamped the word ‘birthday’, using Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set, on a small flower and tied this little flower with the word ‘Happy’ using the silver twine. As a final touch, I added a button, a pearl and some sequins.
