Hearts notecards

Thought I should start February with cards filled with hearts. The three notecards here are 4” x 4”.

Middle card – I used the heart die that comes with Stampin’ Up! Mini Treat Bag thinlits dies I love the soft sweet look of this colour combination.

Left card – I used various ‘heart’ dies from Stampin’ Up! ‘Heart a Flutter’ and ‘Hearts Collection’ and from Lawn Fawn ‘Large Stitched Journaling Card’.

Right card – the only heart on this card is cut using the heart die from Lawn Fawn ‘Large Stitched Journaling Card’.

Bird Builder – Journaling card

Today’s journaling card features Stampin’ Up! ‘Bird Builder’ punch.

I used Stampin’ Up! ‘Hearts Collection’ framelits for the bigger heart shape and Lawn Fawn ‘Large Stitched Journaling Card’ for the smaller heart shape. I stamped the big heart with KaiserCraft ‘Tiny Dot’.

Stampin’ Up! ‘My Friend’ and ‘Summer Silhouettes’ stamp sets were used for the stamp images on the tag and ‘Itty Bitty Banners’ for the sentiment. The little scallop edge at the bottom of the tag is made using Stampin’ Up! ‘Adorning Accents Edgelits’.

The photo below was taken with the family of my sister-in-law in Dar es Salaam, the capital city of Tanzania. Her home was the place we stayed the longest while in Tanzania. The whole family looked after us so well and their kind hospitality made us feel very much at home. We all gained quite a few kilos! We love you all!
