Birthday book – measurements

Here are the measurements of my recent birthday book. Please note that the measurements I used are somewhat suitable for the A4 paper size in Australia which is 8¼” x 11¾”.

Pages to keep track of birthdays: 4” x 5 5/8”. I stamped the lines using Writing Notes background stamp, 5 sheets per month.

Monthly page divider: 4¾” x 5¾”, die cut using file tabs edgelits dies, then trim the width (excluding the tab part) to 4 1/8”.

Front & back cover: 4 1/8” x 5¾”

I used a spare Kikki K folder to hold all the pages.

I made this card a few days ago for a friend, using Stampin’ Up! Sheltering Tree and Mama Elephant In My Heart stamp sets.

I used Stampin’ Up! Swirly Scribbles thinlits dies to make sad face for the envelope and gift bag.

Another Birthday Book – Part 4

Yay, I’ve finished this birthday book. Here are the divider pages for October, November and December and the back cover of the book.

October – I used the new hostess stamp set called Love You Lots. All stamps in this set are so cute!

November – This page was inspired by a card made using the new Penned & Painted stamp set on page 143 of the new annual catalogue. I don’t have this stamp set (yet), so I used the retired Painted Petals stamp set for the dots and Swirly Bird and Jar of Love for the flowers.

December – I used Best Birds stamp set and the matching Birds & Blooms thinlits dies.

I used Jar of Love stamp set, Everyday Jars framelits dies and Botanical Builder framelits dies for the back cover of the book.

September – I used Seaside Shore stamp set. I CAS this page from the card in the new Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue, but I stamped star

fish and bubbles on the Whisper White paper instead of using By the Shore DSP.

May – I used Papillon Potpourri for small butterflies on the Peekaboo Peach background, Bold Butterfly framelits dies and Butterflies thinlits dies for the big butterfly.

June – I used Jar of Love stamp set and Everyday Jars framelits dies. I love…love…love this new bundle!
