Birthday book

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

I started making a small folder to record important dates of my family & friends so I can be more organised in preparing cards and gifts for them. I used a mini folder (about 5” x 6¼”), which I got from Officework for this purpose. I finished all the skeleton, but only managed to decorate the front page and January & February pages.

Although I call it a ‘birthday book’, I will record also other important dates such as wedding anniversary.

Birthday book 1

On the back of the front page I added a small envelope (2½” x 3½”) in case I want to keep some notes.

Birthday book 2

Birthday book 3

I used Stampin’ Up! File Tabs edgelits dies to create the index tabs for each month.

Birthday book 6

I use two sheets (four pages) for each month to record the dates. I used ‘Writing Notes’ background stamp to create the lines to make it easy for me to write – I love it.

I mixed and matched quite a few stamp sets, tools and accessories for today’s card. I also used many of the new 2015-2017 in-colour inks and cardstocks.

Flower Patch – Thank you card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

I have a number of new Stampin’ Up! products waiting in my craft room for about two weeks, but sadly I was too busy to try them. I was so excited to get my hands on some of them this evening.

Flower Patch - thank you card 4

I made this thank you card for a very dear friend who recently visited me and brought me a beautiful patchwork floor mat that she made for me (will take a photo of it and post on my blog soon).

Flower Patch - thank you card 1

The two stamp sets I used on this card are ‘Flower Patch’ and ‘Crazy about You’. I also used the matching dies, the ‘Flower Fair’ framelits dies and ‘Hello You’ thinlits dies. I bought them in bundles so I can save 15%. I think the stamps and the dies in both these bundles go so well together. Although these bundles were also available in the previous annual catalogue, they are brand new to me.

Welcome little Hazel

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

I made this baby’s card for a colleague who just got her little daughter, Hazel. Hazel was born at least two weeks before her due date, but both Hazel and her mum are fine. Welcome little Hazel!

Welcome little Hazel 1

I used quite a few brand new products on this card. The baby’s T looks a bit boyish to my liking even though I used girly colours, so I added a bit of doily. I saw a cute card with three bibs that Lynn got it as a swap card at the convention. I love it! so I made one for this card. There isn’t much space left so I had to make a much smaller one.

Welcome little Hazel 2

I added ‘Hazel’ name on the inside of the card.

Welcome little Hazel 3

Here are the materials I used:

Stamp: Made with Love, Back to Basics Alphabet

Paper: Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Crisp Cantaloupe, Sweet Li’l Things DSP

Ink: Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron, Pink Pirouette, Brushing Bride

Tool: Little Letters Thinlits Dies, 1 ¼” scallop circle punch, ½” circle punch, Itty Bitty Shaped punch pack

Floral Wings notecard

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

I found two Stampin’ Up! brown boxes waiting when I arrived home from work yesterday evening. I was too tired to try anything last night, but want to at least make a card this morning before I jump on the train to visit Lynn. Here is a notecard I made this morning.

Floral wings notecard 1

Yeah, now I have the thinlit die to cut out this gorgeous butterfly (had to hand-cut for my previous card). I used also the brand new ‘Fluttering’ embossing folder to decorate inside of the card. I don’t have much time left to write much or I will miss the train.

I will definitely have more projects using brand new products to share with you in the next few days.

Floral Wings card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

My dear friend, Lynn, lent me this gorgeous hostess stamp set to try. After trying it, I decided that I must have this set. Mine is on the way! Here is a card I made.

Floral Wings card 1

I used almost the same design as the shopping list fridge magnet I posted last Saturday, only changed the colour combination and the butterfly. The 3-step butterfly in this stamp set is so fun and lovely. I added a baking paper butterfly on top and it looks even more sophisticated. I really like how it looks.

Floral Wings card 2

I used stamps from the set to decorate also inside of the card and the envelope.

Floral Wings card 4

Floral Wings card 5

Here are the materials I used:

Paper: Mint Macaron, Pink Pirouette, Tip Top Taupe, Whisper White

Stamp: Floral Wings (hostess set), Painted Petals (retired)

Tool: Butterflies thinlits dies

Accessory: doily
