Purrrfect baby card

I need a baby card for my colleague who just delivered a baby girl, Sophia. As I have been so busy this weekend, I decided to recycle the design (again!) of a baby card I made two years ago.

I used Hardwood background stamp for the drawers, Made with Love for the kitten, Owl punch for the dresses and the retired Spring Samplers for the bunny and booties.

Pretty Kitty – Shaker card

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Canberra

I wanted to make a cute card to say ‘hello’ to a friend. I wanted it to have lots of flower and sparkles, but not too…too girly. This is the card and I am happy with how it looks.

I decided to go for a shaker frame card so I can put lots and lots of sequins. I also added the swirly die-cut around the shaker frame. I chose this kitten stamp from Pretty Kitty stamp set as it seems a perfect choice for the purpose. I chose Soft Sky and Whisper White cardstock to make the card sweet, but not too…too girly.

Gift packaging

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Canberra

I bought a few gifts for my team members and Sharon, who has always helped me with travel arrangements. I made packages to carry those gifts.

Here is the jewellery box for Sharon.

Vietnam a

I made a gift bag for it and a matching thank you card too. I made a card with this same design before, so this is another example of recycle the design when you want something quick.

Vietnam b

These are for my team members. The metal sculptures are so cute, they come in four different shapes. I made packages in milk carton shape for these sculptures, greens for boys and peach for girls.

Vietnam c

I used Seaside Shore stamp set for the greens and Sunshine Sayings for the peaches.

Vietnam d

For a milk carton, I used 7 ¼” x 11” cardstock; scored along the long edge at 2 5/8”, 5 ¼”, 7 7/8” and 10 ½”; scores along the short edge at 2 5/8”, 5 ¼” and 6 ¾”.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

I have another card, which I recycled the design from my recent birthday book, to share today. Here is the card.

Recycle the design 3b

The card design was recycled from October divider page on my recent Birthday Book.

I used Bella & Friends stamp set on the card instead of Love You Lots that I used in the October divider page, but kept almost everything else the same.

Recycle the design

Bussakorn Mpelasoka: Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Canberra

I just returned back yesterday from my work trip to Vietnam. It was an enjoyable and fruitful trip in my opinion. Today I feel like crafting and relaxing my mind before returning to work tomorrow, but haven’t got any new ideas so I decided to recycle the design used in one of the pages in my recent birthday book.

Recycle the design 1a

I used the leftover Summer Starfruit cardstock as my card base.
